Research is one of the three central pillars of UNESCO biosphere parks. In the course of 2005 a mission statement for research and monitoring in the Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal was prepared. The result is as a long-term concept for research and monitoring in the Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal.
