GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH [Enjoy Regional Austria ] is a trademark of Agrarmarkt Austria and the Ministry for Agriculture and the Environment. It’s job is to raise the profile of regional agricultural products and specialities. The focus of this work is information for tourists and the local population on the specific culinary wares of the individual regions.
Austria is characterised by its numerous, unmistakeable and varied regions.
Foods typical of the regions not only mean pleasure but also identity and belonging.

Each federal state is represented in GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH with its typical products – including the state of Vorarlberg. The following products stand for pleasure and quality from the "Ländle", which is our name for our home state:
Bregenzerwälder Alpkäse and Bergkäse
(Alpine and mountain cheeses from the Bregenzerwald)
Großwalsertaler Bergkäse
(Mountain cheeses from the Grosses Walsertal)
