The legal entity of the Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal is the Verein Regionalplanungsgemeinschaft (REGIO) Grosses Walsertal [Grosses Walsertal regional planning association]. Regio’s main committee is also the biosphere park board of trustees. The board of trustees is responsible for the strategic leadership of the biosphere park; members of the board of trustees receive support on content from the expert advisory board.
The biosphere park management was set up for the strategic planning and implementation of projects in accordance with the goals set by the biosphere park. The biosphere park manager and her colleague implement projects which support the biosphere park philosophy in cooperation with the population.
