The goal of the cultural landscape survey, carried out by Johann Peer, BSc in Engineering, on behalf of Regio Grosses Walsertal, is the documentation of the village structures, an overall view of the place and characteristic elements of the cultural landscape - for example footpaths, waterways, typical buildings which define the landscape, valuable landscape elements.
The survey serves as an aid to decision-making for future measures in connection with settlement development, local recreation, local picture and sympathetic renovations and with regard to the duties of the biosphere park management board.
