The Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal with its six communities stands for sustainable living and working; since 2005 locals and visitors have been able to discover and experience this within the summer programme. The biosphere park management team organises this wide-ranging calendar of events with engaged local people and with the support of the Grosses Walsertal Tourism Association. The calendar offers a choice of events from the areas of “Nature teaches”, “Mountain active”, “Art and Culture”, “Herbs, Expertise and Delicacies”.

In winter, too, there is always something going on in the Grosses Walstertal: guided snow-shoe walks, night tobogganing, concerts, a Christmas market and a variety of creative courses are on offer.
